People who do stupid things and die as a result.

I have to say I have no sympathy for people who do stupid things and die from them. I actually have no sympathy for people who do stupid things over all, Ive done many stupid things, and I was the one who fixed what I did by my self. Have I had help, yes, because its more un-intelligent to screw up and keep screwing up rather than just asking for help. But ive never been in so deep that i just sat in my own sorrow to the extent that ive taken it out on other people and flown a plane into an IRS building....too soon?
Look at the world we live in, no one has a sense of honor, right or wrong, or even a sense of common decency to one another. We bring most of what happens to us on our selves because we dont pay attention to our surrounds and are ultimately to lazy to do anything about it. I am not claiming im perfect, but I can proudly claim that I do have a shred of honor within me to do whats right and whats needed even when others may not like it. I will never place the blame on others simply because I cant help my self or get my self out of a mess.
Moral of the rant? Dont be stupid or to proud to accept help when you truly need it, though I advise against it, there are many councelors out there who are just trying to help and not scam you out of money (go and see them). Talk to your friends and family, look at the situation you are in and see if its really that bad that you cant find a way to solve it. And never put to much burdon on your self, a good friend of mine said to me "Theres only one way to eat an elephant, and thats one bite at a time".

Gay Marriage

Possibly one of the most sensitive discussions of the modern day in the United States. Do we deny others the rights to marry based on religious values that many do not share to begin with. Or we do we allow the "sanctity" (if there really is any left) of marriage to be "broken". Beyond being unconstitutional, we are absolutely denying Gays their Human Rights because our government, Christian run mind you, says that Gays are a threat to the system of marriage. If you ask me, the system of marriage is threatened by the over-control that is placed on it by our government.
Since ancient times there have been reports of Homosexuality, its in the bible and many surviving texts from other cultures. There are slurs for homosexuals from ancient times, as much as there is today, but that still doesnt make it right or place any difference on these individuals. We mark gays as something entirely different than straight people, but in all actually there is the minute difference of sexual orientation. I know, youll tell your self its a sin and needs to be treated, well grow up and do some REAL research into the subject at hand. The crusades ended long ago and I feel its honestly time for some real equality to be given. In america there is a large pandemic of child molestors, murderers, theives, and crooked politicians; yet fe focus on gay marriage as a "problem".

So lets take a look act the facts as it stands.

1) Being gay is not a disease, and most believe that gays are born the way they are (my self included)

2) There are larger problems than gay marriage, just because the bible says something doesnt mean you can enforce it on others.

3) Not only is our government controlling marriage by law, they are controlling the right to deny marriage by law based on religious principal (wheres the seperation of church and state)

4) The "sanctity of marriage" was lost long ago when people started cheating on each other, amongst other relationship "no no's".

Ask your self honestly, is denying ANYONE the right to marriage who is an honest working tax paying citizen (of any country or nationality, religion, or sexuality) right to do just because the bible dictacts some ancient code? I dont feel it is.

My reasonings and rantings.

First blog, I feel, should go to explaining my madness and anger. The tittle "The Other Truth" is a statement meaning that we are see a version of our own truth, Christians say truth is the bible, I dont agree becuase my Truth is in my Spirituality, my truth is to my self and my loved ones. Am I going to be 100% right every time? No, not even close, but I may claim that am in arrogance and anger from time to time. But like everyone else in the world, just because I claim truth doesnt always garuntee it so.
I am a(n) Heathen/Odinisit/Asatru and study the ancient ways of my European ancestors. I can already feel the blood boil in many minds as I state his, but if you choose to hate and deny people based on religious choices then you are whats wrong with America, then you are whats wrong with this world and are my reason for writing this blog. I dont claim to be the end all be all voice for those who keep quiet out of fear, but I am one voice of the under-represented (as a friend of mine called my religion). Hopefully there can be some intelligent points, amazing counter points, and inspiring posts from me here so that people can learn and grow from anything I say.
